All these repressed feelings and experiences have been held down for a reason. Some people just aren’t ready to face those core issues during treatment. If someone is really courageous, brave and ready, yes ketamine can be beneficial. They need to be willing to make some changes in their life and face the things that they've been unwilling to face.

But if the patient is not ready and if things are tolerable with the status quo, then ketamine infusions wouldn't be a good treatment option for that patient.
